Trust the Inner Voice

내면의 소리를 믿으세요

Do you really want to be converted?

진정으로 새로워지기를 원하세요?

Are you willing to be transformed?

변화되기를 진심으로 원하세요?

Or do you keep clutching your old ways of life with one hand

아니면 한 손으로는 삶의 옛 방식을 꽉 잡고 있으면서

while with the other you beg people to help you change?

다른 손으로는 당신이 변화할 수 있도록 도와달라고 다른 이들에게  간청하나요?

Conversion is certainly not something you can bring about yourself.

변화는 분명히 당신 스스로 일으킬 수 있는 것이 아닙니다.

It is not a question of willpower.

그것은 의지력의 문제가 아닙니다.

You have to trust the inner voice that shows the way.

그 길을 보여주는 내면의 소리를 믿어야 합니다.

You know that inner voice.

당신은 그 내면의 소리를 식별할 수 있습니다.

You turn to it often.

당신은 자주 그 소리를 찾지요.

But after you have heard with clarity what you are asked to do,

그러나 당신이 뭘 해야 되는지를 뚜렷하게 들은 후에도

you start raising questions, fabricating objections, and seeking everyone else's opinion.

당신은 의심하고, 항의를 꾸며내고, 다른이들의 의견을 구합니다.

Thus you become entangled in countless often contradictory thoughts, feelings and ideas,

이러므로써 당신은  무수히 모순된 생각, 감정 그리고 관념에 빠지게 되고

and lose touch with the God in you. 

 당신 안에 계신 하나님과의 접촉을 잃어버립니다.

And you end up depenent on all the people you have gathered around you.

그리고 결국 당신이 모아들인 주변의 사람들에게 의존하게 됩니다.

Only by attending constantly to the inner voice

오직 지속적으로 그 내면의 소리를 따름으로써만

can you be converted to a new life of freedom and joy.

당신은 자유와 기쁨으로 가득찬 새로운 삶을 살 수 있습니다.
