Living in a State of Preparedness
Everything that comes from God asks for an open and faithful heart.
We cannot live with hope and joy in the end-time unless we are living in a state of preparedness.
We have to be careful because, as the apostle Peter says: "Your enemy the devil is on the prowl like roaring lion, looking for someone to devour"(1 peter 5:8).
Therefore Jesus says: "Watch yourselves, or your hearts will be coarsened by debauchery and drunkenness and the cares of life... Stay awake, praying at all times for the strength to survive all that is going to happen, and to hold your ground before the Son of Man"(Luke 21:34-36).
That's what living in the Spirit of Jesus calls us to
준비된 상태로 살기
하나님으로부터 오는 모든 것을 받으려면 열린, 그리고 신실한 마음이 필요합니다. 준비된 상태로 살고 있지 않다면 우리는 희망과 기쁨으로 살아갈 수 없습니다. 사도 바울이 말씀하시듯이 “너희의 원수인 악마가 으르렁거리는 사자처럼 배회하며 삼킬 자들을 찾고 있기”(베드로전서 5:8) 때문에 우리는 항상 조심해야 합니다. 그러므로 예수께서는 “조심해라, 그렇지 않으면 너희의 마음이 술취함과 방탕, 그리고 삶의 염려로 얼룩질 것이다... 깨어 있어 일어날 모든 일들을 견딜 수 있는 힘을 주시도록, 그리고 너희가 사람의 아들 앞에서 너희의 자리를 지킬 수 있도록 항상 기도해라”(누가 21:34-36)라고 말씀하십니다. 그 것이야말로 예수의 성령 안에서 살아가는 삶이 우리에게 요구하는 것입니다.
