첫날처럼An Experience Offered to All
Some people say, "I never had an experience of the fullness of time... I am just an ordinary person, not a mystic."
Although some people have unique missions to announce God's presence to the world, all of us - whether learned or unlearned, rich or poor, visible or hidden - can receive the grace of seeing God in the fullness of time.
This mystical experience is not reserved for a few exceptional people.
God wants to offer that gift in one way or another to all God's children.
But we must desire it.
We must be attentive and interiorly alert!!.
For some people the experience of the fullness of time comes in a spectacular way, as it did to St. Paul when he fell to the ground on his way to Damascus (see Acts 9:3-4)
But for some of us it comes like a murmuring sound or gentle breeze touching our backs (see 1 Kings 19:13).
God loves us all and wants us all to know this in a most personal way.
모든 사람들에게 주어지는 경험
어떤 사람들은,“나는 때가 차는 경험을 해 본 적이 없어... 나는 그냥 평범한 사람일 뿐이고, 신비주의자도 아니니까.”라고 말합니다.
어떤 사람들은 하나님의 현존을 세상에 알려야 하는 독특한 사명을 지니기도 하지만, 우리 모두는, 유식하든 못 배웠든, 부유하든 가난하든, 눈에 띄는 사람이든 숨겨져서 드러나지 않는 사람이든 간에, 때가 찼을 때 하나님을 보는 은혜를 입을 수 있습니다.
이러한 신비적인 체험은 어떤 예외적인 사람들에게만 예비 되어있는 게 아닙니다.
하나님은 그 선물을 이런 저런 방법으로 모든 하나님의 자녀들에게 주고 싶어 하십니다.
그러나 우리가 그것을 소망해야 합니다.
우리는 세심하게 내적으로 깨어 있어야 합니다.
어떤 사람들에게는 마치 성 바울이 다마스커스로 가던 도중 땅 바닥에 거꾸러졌을 때 그랬던 것처럼, 때가 차는 경험이 아주 웅장한 방법으로 다가오기도 합니다.(사도행전 9:3-4 참고)
그러나 우리 같은 어떤 사람들에게는 그 경험이 속삭이는 소리나 우리의 등을 스치고 지나가는 부드러운 미풍처럼 다가옵니다.(열왕기상 19:13 참고)
하나님은 우리 모두를 사랑하셔서 우리 모두가 가장 개인적인 방법으로 이것을 알기 원하십니다.
