We Are the Glory of God
Living a spiritual life is living a life in which our spirits and the Spirit of God bear a joint witness that we belong to God as God's beloved children (see Romans 8:16).
This witness involves every aspect of our lives.
Paul says,"Whatever you eat, then, or drink, and whatever else you do, do it all for the glory of God"(Romans 10:31).
And we are the glory of God when we give full visibility to the freedom of the children of God.
When we live in communion with God's Spirit, we can only be witnesses, because wherever we go and whomever we meet, God's Spirit will manifest itself through us.
우리는 하나님의 영광
영적인 삶을 산다는 것은 우리의 영과 하나님의 성령이 연합하여 '우리가 하나님으로부터 사랑받는 자녀들로서 하나님께 속해 있다' 는 사실을 함께 증언하는 그런 삶을 사는 것입니다.(로마서 8:16 참고)
이러한 증언은 우리 삶의 모든 국면들을 포함합니다.
바울은 “그러므로 너희가 무엇을 먹든 마시든 다른 어떤 일을 하든 그 모든 일을 하나님의 영광을 위해서 하라” (로마서 10:31) 라고 말씀하십니다.
그리고 우리가 하나님의 자녀로서 누리는 자유를 온전히 드러내게 될 때 우리는 하나님의 영광이 됩니다.
우리가 하나님의 성령과 연합된 삶을 살 때, 우리가 어느 곳으로 가고 누구를 만나든지 하나님의 성령께서 우리를 통해서 자신을 드러내실 것이기 때문에 우리는 증인이 될 수밖에 없습니다.
