Being Unconditional Witnesses
Good news becomes bad news when it is announced without peace and joy.
Anyone who proclaims the forgiving and healing love of Jesus with a bitter heart is a false witness.
Jesus is the saviour of the world.
We are not.
We are called to witness, always with our lives and sometimes with our words, to the great things God has done for us.
But this witness must come from a heart that is willing to give without getting anything in return.
The more we trust in God's unconditional love for us, the more able we will be to proclaim the love of Jesus without any inner or outer conditions.
조건 없이 증언하는 사람들이 되기
평화와 기쁨 없이 전할 때, 좋은 소식은 나쁜 소식이 되어버립니다.
예수 안에 있는 용서와 치유의 사랑을 괴로운 마음으로 선포하는 사람이 있다면, 그는 거짓 증언자입니다.
예수는 세상의 구원자이십니다.
우리는 그렇지 못합니다.
우리는, 언제나 삶으로 때로는 말로, 하나님께서 우리에게 행하신 큰일들을 증언하도록 부름 받았습니다.
그러나 이러한 증언은 무언가를 되돌려 받지 못한다고 해도 기꺼이 주고 싶은 마음으로부터 나오는 것입니다.
우리를 향한 하나님의 무조건적인 사랑을 더 신뢰하면 할수록, 우리는 내적인 혹은 외적인 조건 없이 예수의 사랑을 더 잘 선포할 수 있게 됩니다.
