The Autumn of Life
The autumn leaves can dazzle us with their magnificent colours: deep red, purple, yellow, gold, bronze, in countless variations and combinations.
Then, shortly after having shown their unspeakable beauty, they fall to the ground and die.
The barren trees remind us that winter is near.
Likewise, the autumn of life has the potential to be very colorful: wisdom, humor, care, patience and joy may bloom splendidly just before we die.
As we look at the barren trees and remember those who have died, let us be grateful for the beauty we saw in them and wait hopefully for a new spring.
삶의 가을
가을의 잎사귀들은 화려한 색깔로 우리 눈을 부시게할 수 있습니다: 진홍, 보라, 노랑, 금빛, 청동빛 등 셀 수 없는 다양함과 조합들로 말이죠.
말로 할 수 없는 아름다움을 보이고 난 바로 그 때 잎사귀들은 낙엽이 되어 땅에 떨어져서 사라집니다.
나무 잎이 다 떨어진 것을 보면 겨울이 가까이 왔다는 것을 알게 됩니다.
마찬가지로 삶의 가을도 매우 색감이 화려할 가능성을 지니고 있습니다: 지혜, 익살, 보살핌, 참을성 그리고 기쁨은 우리가 세상을 떠나기 바로 직전에 화려하게 피어날 수 있습니다.
나무 잎이 다 떨어져버린 나무를 보면서 이미 세상을 떠난 사람들을 추억할 때, 그들 속에서 우리가 보았던 아름다움을 감사하며 새로운 봄을 희망을 가지고 기다립시다.
