첫날처럼The Hidden Resurrection
The resurrection of Jesus was a hidden event.
Jesus didn't rise from the grave to baffle his opponents, to make a victory statement, or to prove to those who crucified him that he was right after all.
Jesus rose as a sign to those who loved him and followed him that God's divine love is stronger than death.
To the women and men who committed themselves to him, he revealed that his mission had been fulfilled.
To those who shared in his ministry, he gave the sacred task to call all people into the new life with him.
The world didn't take notice.
Only those whom he called by name, with whom he broke bread, and to whom he spoke words of peace were aware of what happened.
Still, it was this hidden event that freed humanity from the shackles of death.
숨겨진 부활
예수의 부활은 숨겨진 사건이었습니다.
예수께서는 그의 적들을 당황하게 하려고, 승리를 선언하려고, 또는 그를 못박은 자들에게 결국 자신이 옳았음을 증명하려고 무덤으로부터 일어나신 것이 아닙니다.
예수께서는 자신을 사랑하며 따르던 사람들에게 하나님의 신적인 사랑은 죽음보다도 강하다는 사실을 보여주기 위해서 일어나신 것입니다.
예수께 자신들을 맡겼던 사람들에게 그의 임무가 완성되었음을 드러내신 것입니다.
그의 사역을 함께 했던 사람들에게, 모든 사람들을 그와 함께 하는 새 생명 속으로 불러들이라는 거룩한 임무를 부여하셨습니다.
세상은 눈치채지 못했습니다.
오로지 예수께서 이름을 불러주던 사람들, 함께 빵을 나누던 사람들, 그가 평화의 말씀을 전했던 사람들만 무슨 일이 일어났는지 알았습니다.
그렇지만 인간들로 하여금 죽음의 굴레에서 벗어나도록 만든 것은 바로 이 숨은 사건이었습니다
