첫날처럼God's Timeless Time
There is no "after" after death.
Words like after and before belong to our mortal life, our life in time and space.
Death frees us from the boundaries of chronology and brings us into God's "time," which is timeless.
Speculations about the afterlife, therefore, are little more than that: speculations.
Beyond death there is no "first" and "later", no "here" and "there", no "past", "present", or "future."
God is all in all.
The end of time, the resurrection of the body, and the glorious coming again of Jesus are no longer separated by time for those who are no longer in time.
For us who still live in time, it is important not to act as if the new life in Christ is something we can comprehend or explain.
God's heart and mind are greater than ours.
All that is asked of us is trust
시간에 얽매이지 않는 하나님의 시간
죽음 이후에는 "이후" 라는 것이 없습니다.
"이후" 나 "이전" 같은 단어들은 우리들의 유한한 삶, 즉 시공간 속의 삶에 속한 것입니다.
죽음은 우리들로 하여금 시간이라는 경계에서 자유롭게 하고, 시간에 얽매이지 않는 하나님의 시간 속으로 인도합니다.
그러므로 죽음 이후의 삶이 어떠할 것인지 추측한다는 것은 추측 그 이상도 그 이하도 아닙니다.
죽음 너머에는 "먼저"와 "나중" 도 없고, "여기"와 "저기"도 없으며, "현재"와 "미래"도 없습니다.
하나님은 모든 것 중의 모든 것입니다.
마지막 때, 몸의 부활, 그리고 예수의 영광스러운 재림은 더 이상 시간 속에 있지 않는 사람들에게는 시간적으로 더 이상 떨어져 있는 사건이 아닙니다.
여전히 시간 속에 있는 우리로서는 그리스도 안에서 사는 새로운 삶이 마치 우리 수준에서 이해나 설명이 가능이라도 한 것인 듯한 태도를 취하지 않는 것이 중요합니다.
하나님의 마음과 생각은 우리의 그것 보다 더 크십니다.
우리에게 요구되는 모든 것은 믿음뿐입니다.
