첫날처럼One Body with Many Patrs
The Church is one body.
Paul writes, "We were baptised into one body in a single Spirit" (1 Corinthians 12:13).
But this one body has many parts.
As Paul says, "If they were all the same part, how could it be a body?“
As it is, the parts are many but the body is one"(1 Corinthians 12:19).
Not everyone can be everything.
Often we expect one member of the body to fulfill a task that belongs to others.
But the hand cannot be asked to see nor the eye to hear.
Together we are Christ's body, each of us with a part to play in the whole (see 1 Corinthians 12"27).
Let's be grateful for our limited but real part in the body.
한 몸에 여러 지체들
교회는 하나의 몸입니다.
바울은 “우리는 단일한 성령 안에서 세례를 받아 한 몸이 되었습니다.” 라고 씁니다.(고전 12:13)
그러나 이 한 몸은 많은 지체들을 가집니다.
바울의 말대로, “우리가 모두 똑같은 지체로만 되어 있다면, 어떻게 그 것이 몸일 수 있을까요?”
그러므로, 지체는 여럿이지만, 몸은 하나입니다. (고전 12:19).
각각의 사람이 모든 것이 될 수는 없습니다.
종종 우리는 한 몸의 지체가 다른 지체에게 속한 임무를 수행해 내기를 기대합니다.
그러나 손에게 보라고 요구하거나, 눈에게 들으라고 요구할 수는 없습니다.
함께 더불어 있을 때 우리는 그리스도의 몸이며 전체 속에서 우리들 각자가 맡아야 하는 부분이 있습니다. (고전 12:27)
우리들 각자는 한계는 있지만 몸의 실질적인 지체임을 감사해야 하겠습니다.
